Code D.E.A.D is a Horror Co-op Survival mod. Humans must barricade and work together to overcome the hordes of the undead. The weapons are based on kill streak reward system. For example, four kills would earn you a Desert Eagle. There will be over twenty weapons to be rewarded with. The hope is to have custom models for them all, as to fit the style of the game.

SIX SIDED GAMING OR ZOMBIE SURVIVAL TEAM DID NOT MAKE THIS

In this tutorial I will show you how to put custom sounds into hammer and then to ingame.

What you will need.

.A sound, i recommend using newground's audio portal to find them.

Audacity.sourceforge.net

The tutorial

First of all download a track or rip it from a CD.

Watch out for this!

Then create a file with the name of your map.

Now open up hammer.

Choose your map and then go to the place you want your music. Go to the
entitities tab and find Ambient_generic. Place one where you want it on
your map.

Double click it to open it up.

Give it a name.

Then click sound name, then browse.

Find your sound and click preview to test if it's working. If it is not, revise the steps.

Click Ok, then apply. Other options are neccesary such as volume and
start volume but i will leave you to figure that our for yourself.

Click ok when your ready to go on.

This ambient_sound won't activate by itself so you will have to set up
a trigger to do so. Make a normal sized brush with the nodraw texture
applied to it.

Click on on and do CTRL + T.

Select the brush as trigger_once or Trigger_mutliple depending on your
choice. Trigger multiple can be activated many times but trigger once
can only be done once.

After selecting that, give the trigger a name such as musictrigger. Click apply.

Click on outputs and do the following.

Click add. Put these options in, where it says "music" put your ambient_generic's name in.

Click apply.

You are done. But only for now, the next part of the tutorial will show
you how to get it into garrys mod without any extra folders.
