CnC: Final War is a semi-total conversion for Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge that retells the Second Great War between Allied forces located mostly in Europe and the massive Soviet Empire, that has expanded well across the eastern continent.
The Node Defense System was designed as a purchasable "boost" to local defense forces manufactured and installed by WarCorps Inc. Equipped with state of the art weapon and targeting systems, as well as failsafe devices that allow for the repair of any destroyed station, the Node Defense System was envisioned as a one-stop-solution to deter conflict from arising in areas. However with the forced-dismantling of WarCorps by Allied political and military advisers, these emplacements now sit on the battlefield left to rot. Savvy commanders may utilize these structures as their own, but due to the complex requirements in getting these buildings online they must be captured by an Engineer, instead of merely being 'held' by garrisoning combat infantry.
Artillery Node (top, left) - Fires a long range high-powered anti-infantry shell, designed to stop large infantry advances.
MLRS Node (bottom) - Fires multiple explosive-tipped rockets, effective against massed light forces.
Anti-Tank Node (right) - Fires a high-speed penetrating shell, effective against all armor targets. Specializes in heavier armor removal.
Sensor Node (center) - Unarmed, but detects stealthed, underground, and spy-disguised threats.
