This is not a normal mod. It's an DLC pack that contain a lot of mods modified to work with Fakefactroy Cinematic Mod 2013. All mods are distributed across game episodes using bonus map system. To install Extra Chapters you need to have first the latest version of Cinematic Mod 2013 installed and functional.

Put them all in CM2013 folder and run Update Extra Chapters.bat

For some reason, when I open the launcher only 1187 and Nightmare House 2 show up. If they aren't intended to be there, than how do I open other mods?

And all mods are embeded in all game episodes, just start EP2 for example and go to Extra Chapters section
on the launcher, in the "Extra Chapters Tools" section, it tells me EC isn't installed. This doesn't make any sense, because I have installed it numerous times into the CM2013 folder. any ideas on how to fix it?
Did you run Update Extra Chapters.bat after extracting all files in CM2013 folder?
Otherwise I can't see why game launcher says EC is not installed
I took the files from Repository/EC_Update/Extra_Chapters and put it directly into my CM2013 folder, but none of the episode 2 content is there. is there a difference in the way those maps/mods are put into the game?
will this mod affect my custom skin, addons or setting?

Bloody ell use 7zip right click on the top file and extract to CM2013 Then update extra chapters batch file.
