With the realease of Westwood’s Command & Conquer Renegade were many people of the community the opinion that this game has a big potential of Single- and Multiplayer. With the update to version 1.03 the modding tools were released. And then there was my idea to produce a C&C Renegade modification. Many people contacted me to work with me. After a short phase we found the project

C&C Chronowar is a Multiplayer modification for C&C Renegade and deals in the Red Alert 2 universe. The Alies fight against the Sowjiets on amarican ground.

Today it is a dark day for the ChronoWar Team and their fans. We were not able to reach our own set aims. The team is not as effective and producitve as it was before.
Chronowar exists now over one year and we were not able to release a version to out our fans. The Renegade Community shrinks day by day. We were wondering if there are people who will play our mod.
Due to all these things we all decided to stop developing on C&C Chronowar. Maybe sometime there will be some user and/or fans who will start working on it again but this will not be named Chronowar
I wish to thank all the fans and visitors which visited our page and our boards day by day. Please believe that this was a very hard decision we made and we regret this.
My special thanks go out to my team. All the people who worked under my command, I think it was not easy to have me as the project leader but I hope everyone of you had a lot of fun.
Thank you for the good time an the very best of luck fot the future.

Apocalypse Rising will finish the Renegade communitys demand for an RA2 based mod
Well I am majorly disappointed now i was so very exicted, and it goes and dies this just may have been one of the best mods ever, but seeing as its dead i see that it wont be.
What's your point? Do you know how old this mod is?

At least RA:2 Vengence is a Red alert 2 mod for CnC Renegade. That'll be out sometime...
