Command & Conquer Red Alert History is a small mod that adds a few new units. The idea came about because I wondered what a few Red Alert units would look like and perform inside the Tiberium wars engine. I consider this mod a 'museum', wherein I add a few historical pieces that I like into the C&C3; engine! The Mod will be updated by adding a few units at a time (typically around 10 items). The mod is a mixture of mostly EA & public models, as well as a few original models done by me. Check the forums & articles for detailed information and for in-depth discussion.

Congratulations for restarting working on this mod!

Since I'm a great fan of a Red Alert 1/2 remake in 3d, I would like to address you some inspiration artwork and suggestions.

1st, is an artwork project known as Red Alert Zero: Uncertainty Principle: here

(I'm not suggesting you adopt the project, just some of the art, especially the buildings). I had finished some of the buildings as untextured, non-animated 3d models in obj format but I am currently studying abroad and they're on my home pc. I don't think I will have any chance of sending you them before the 2nd half of december.

2nd, I would like to see a proper Soviet Rhino Tank. For that I'd suggest a rhino tank as concepted in Red Alter

I really hope you finish this mod completely (and design a practically new game). There are many re-adaptions of the Tiberium Series in 3d (for C&C3 and Generals), but no decent remake of Red Alert!

Thanks for your suggestions!

Red Alert Zero: Uncertainty Principle has many nice ideas, I would really like to see at least a demo version of this mod made (maybe for RA3).

Has for the Rhino tank, my plan is to replace the current Renegade II model with RA1 heavy tank, and have an air dropped RA2 Rhino tank. If things go according to plan (they never do with this mod!) then that would be done for the next release.

Again thanks for posting, and please feel free to make more threads on whatever ideas you might have for Red alert history.

I don't think there will be any Uncertainty Principle mod release so I think it won't be a problem if you adopt some of the art. As I said, in December I will send you the 3d models.

EDIT: Though, I don't expect them(my models) to be in the next release since they are neither textured nor animated.
