Call of Pripyat: Redux is the premiere realism/difficulty modification for the latest game in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series. Version 1.0 (released) brings numerous enhancements and tweaks to the game while retaining its original charm, but making the Zone a much more difficult place to survive. Version 2.0 (in development) will build upon the success of v1.0 and bring a huge range of improvements over its predecessor, including new missions, NPCs, script systems and even levels.
This patch includes the fixes and changes of all previous patches, plus two new ones. Take a look in the description for the details. This patch must be installed on top of Call of Pripyat: Redux v1.0 (Both Full and Base) or v1.01/v1.02/v1.05/v1.05a. Read the ReadMe for instructions.
Includes All Previous Patch Fixes + Changes:
New Fixes + Changes:- Reduced Blind Dog damage slightly more!- Really should have fixed the xr_corpse_detection.script crash
Does this fix the Jupiter crash that has to do with the sound?
That was fixed in an earlier patch, you just needed to start a new game :)
Since installing this patch (I didn't start a new game) the game crashes when I try to enter Jupiter (whether by guide or by the map-area). Any ideas?
The file is "unavailable at the moment" I really hope it only is a temporary problem.
Your not the only one? Filefront has been down for 2 days today for me. Kinda annoying.
Need to correct some weapons stats, like abakan rate of fire, it fire more faster than a gatling gun :@ and weapons with 7.63, 5.52 bullet do more damage than the vintorez 9.39, a shotgun is more accurate than the Dragunov SVU (WTF!!). The no-crosshair is not realistic to me, on real life most people know where the bulletss will hit without ironsight it, u need to put at least an estatic point, like the original binocular crosshair . Putting more bullets on dead stalkers weapons will be more realistic than the ridiculous 3 to 5 bullets
The Abakan's rate of fire is a mistake made by the developers, I imagine taken from RCOM. In RCOM, it had 1800 RPM rate of fire, but it was only in single or two round burst mode. About the 5.56 and 5.45 doing more damage than 9x39, that does need to be corrected in my opinion. The bullet, being 9mm in diameter, should do a reasonable amount of damage compared to 5.45 and 5.56, because of it's sheer weight and size. Besides, the 5.56 isn't very efficient with most rifles it uses, as the rifling on the barrels basically makes it into a .22 LR. Not having a crosshair is realistic; people know where the bullets will hit without the ironsight or crosshair in real life, so why do you need it in-game? I do think that bodies should carry at least one or maybe five magazines from the weapon they were using. Not that you should have all of that ammo, but it would create something useful to sell.

ah yea the abakan have 1800rpm :P , but whit only 30 bullets, is usless. The zoom of some scopes are all messed up (zoom to the moon )
Tell you the truth, the mod is awesome! I'm sorry, but people complaining, can you do better tan near perfection? No?
I don't know if this is a bug or part of the gameplay, but i can not survive emissions while in cover anytime an emission occurs NO MATTER WHERE I AM i die the only way i can survive them is by sleeping through them.. only to wake up and find everyone inside the building shooting at me..? please any help would be much apreciated, thank you, and great mod :)
Which building? Have you tried the barge at the start of the game? How about where you find the sleeping BloodSuckers?
Is it advisable to use Atmosfear 3 installed on top of Redux 1.05b?
Is this mod compatible with the newest Atmosfear?

Is there a way to keep the damn crosshair on without having to enable it every time i load the game? is pretty annoying, like this.. and i know that that know disable it but really, leaving it to be enable or not like vanilla will be better for mot people, moreover i think that unlike people who have trianed themselves with FPS so much to play well even without crosshair, in reality proportion and wideness of FOD are different from videogame, and pointing a gun without ironsight makes very difficult to hit somebody, if he's not so near to touch your nose..
