A mod that seeks to retain the original feel of Call of Duty while enhancing it by tweaking existing elements and adding weapons from United Offensive.
Instead of enemies permanently switching to their pistols, now both friendly and hostile forces can freely switch between their sidearm and their primary weapon at will.
That's an interesting mechanic. Are they going to change to their sidearm if you or your allies get to close? Or if they are fighting in close-quarters like the dam level?
Honestly, currently it's just random that when they try to reload they might instead switch to their pistol to squeeze off a few shots with that. I might expand on it like with what you said, but right now I'm just happy to have gotten the basics working properly.
I feel like having it be distance-based would cause a few problems, because it would make them be less effective in close quarters and you'd be able to mess with enemies by rushing them and making them switch.
Man, seeing this, knowing that someone could make this sidearm switch is simply beautiful, a long time ago I tried to do it too but I just couldn't, it's great to read that you created the move from primary to secondary weapon, excellent work bro, keep it that way and a lot of success!
