Most likely it's not possible, it's hardcoded as far as I know.
Aztec archers are using women but I think when aztecs recruit a platoon, men run to the tent and change into women.

Not sure if this is my computer or not- found a glitch when loading between the 2nd and 3rd Japanese lands (land 6 & 7). The light that moves on the bars at the loading screen stops, glitches it and moves back and forth. Cannot load Land 7. You know what this could be? :)
Never encountered this issue. Try to load your save, then depart the land with the gods playground scroll and then depart from gods playground. Like this it should load land 7.
If it still not works you can upload your savegame somewhere and send it to me.
Your savegames are located in the documents folder of bw2 in the profile with your profilename.

I'll try God's Playground but I'm not sure how this would work; I've not been able to load Land 7 in the first place.
If it still not works: Navigate to "Documents\Black & White 2\Profiles\<YOUR PROFILE NAME>\Saved Games\" and select your last file you saved on. Pack it as a .zip or .rar and upload it on a site like uploadfiles.io. If it uploaded send me a private message with the link to download the file.
To recruit women into armies, make a new platoon. Whilst the men are being recruited, grab a female villager and hold her above the part of the tent where the men stand. It should say that placing her will turn her into a disciple breeder but she won't. Drop her there and she'll walk to where the men stand and will then be recruited. Note that another man has to be standing there for this to work and she must be placed right above where the men wait :) Hope this works. Also pretty sure you can only do it one woman and a time.
Is it possible to play the skirmish mode yet?
Yes, you start the skirmish mode from gods playground which is available after the tutorial lands.
Where can i find the menu for gods playground :D?
It's directly in the campaign, click New Game, progress through the tutorial lands and after the 3rd land god's playground will load

Working currently on the last additional land for 1.4 and then I'll have to test it. I think I can release it towards end of april ;)
im getting crashes in skirmish mode sometimes after 10 min sometimes after 40 min , what can be that cause of it and can i fix it somehow?
I need to know if it was some specific crash. What did you do right before it crashed? Can you load a save? Was it exactly 10, 20, 30, 40 min after the game started?
