The official 4.1 patch for BSmodHQ Update v.4.0 for BSP

- Added rudder/screw animations for the following ships
- Admiral Hipper class

- Changed/improved the textures of the following units

- Tweaked the textures of the guns for the following ships
- Brooklyn class
- Early Mogami class
- King George V class
- Nagato class
- Yamato 1945 class
- Zuikaku class
- Removed the flak from the 6.1” guns on the Early Mogami class
- Increased the range and velocity of the Japanese AA rockets
- Slightly dropped the Yamato 1945 class to better match the waterline
- Decreased the reload time of the Bismarck and Admiral Hipper classes in order for their guns to have similar rates of fire compared to their counterparts
- Added better bow waves to the following ships
- The B-29 Superfortress now uses both its bomb bays
- The 1600lbs/800kg bombs on the G5N Liz/B-29 Superfortress were increased to 8
- Fixed the Japanese catapults launching the F1M Pete/E13A Jake to let the aircraft carry depth charges instead of bombs
- Fixed a loadout bug where the M6A Seiran does not carry the selected loadout
UI modifications:
- Added the missing star icon to Endgame in the mission menu to associate it with the mod’s maps
- Placed the Zuikaku after the Akagi in the Unit Library
- Fixed the Unit Library view distance for the following ships:
- Brooklyn class
- North Carolina class
- Essex class
- Nagato class
- Yamato 1945
- Zuikaku
- Fixed the objective screen during the mission briefing where buildings (such as the HQ, Airfield and Shipyard) have black boxes
- Replaced the main menu music with a more orchestral version
Map modifications:
- Fixed crash on Second Battle of Guadalcanal
- Made changes to the AI on Ring of Fire
- Prevent the AI from only spawning Kamikazes and sending them crashing into neutral bases
- Prevent the AI from only spawning the LSM(R)
- Made the following changes to the Training Grounds
- Added the Puffin as a spawnable ship to all Naval Training Grounds
- Moved the LSM(R) from between the cruisers and battleships to after the battleships in the US Naval Training Grounds
- Fixed an island rendering glitch in the Japanese Naval Training Grounds
- Added Paratrooper planes dropping “Dummy Targets” to the Naval Training Grounds
- Added missing unlockable ship names to Seizing the Fijis for the Yamato 1945, Bismarck and Admiral Hipper classes
General changes:
- Extracted all the language mpaks
- Extracted all the dialogue mpaks
- Extracted all warnings mpaks
- Extracted the remaining vehicle mpaks
- Extracted the caustics/coastline mpaks
- For the use of static planes (parked aircraft on the ground) the following provisions were made
- Since only the P-40 Warhawk and B-17 Flying Fortress were used (in Pearl Harbor) no other static planes had the provision made to be used
- Assigned names of the static planes
- Added missing code in the class file to prevent these static planes from crashing the game once damaged
Wow I’m glad that you guys didn’t forget this mod and surprisingly there’s a patch. Is there any changes or new?

Owww ok thanks for responds. One last thing I’m planning to install Pacific Remastered mod is it important to install this patch first or no ?
At the moment PRCP and 4.1 are not compatible with each other. They make conflicting changes to some files. There is a patch being worked on that will add 4.1 to PRCP.
So Basically there’s no need to install this patch for now. Btw thanks for responds you guys doing great keep it up 😊👍
If you have 4.0 then go ahead. If you have PRCP, the patch should be out soon. It just takes a lot of work to go through each game file and comparing the different versions so we can merge the changes.

Err... The 6.1 inch guns on the Mogami were duel purpose guns.
We are aware of it, however giving the Mogami DP guns made her AA overpowered - therefore we removed it. The Brooklyn - which is the Mogami's counterpart did not have the DP guns.
Oh......
You could replace the Brooklyn with the Worcester class cruiser.
That will entail importing a new model which is a massive job. The Brooklyn was already available so... The Early Mogami was added as a counterpart to the Brooklyn and not vice-versa.
How do I install the 4.0 to 4.1 mod because I cannot see how I could do it. If you can get back to me that means a lot thanks.
Download the zip, extract it anywhere, then run setup.exe. It will prompt you to locate the folder where you currently have 4.0 installed. The installer will validate the folder and if all is fine, you will see the install option come up.
Really struggling to find where I have 4.0 installed, do you have any idea where it would install by default if there is a place?

Is there possibility to include in the next update function allowed to restrict the amount of regain of command points or possibility switch off restore of command points at all in Island capture play mode? And to make possibility capturing the neutral bases only with troopships. That can make Island capture play mode mach more interesting and fair.
Unfortunately that is basically hard-coded by the developers

Do yall have a list of mods that are compatible with the 4.1 patch? Im also curious if you guys have some kind to group or discord server, if this project is still active. Been loving the mods so far, The extra campaigns mod with the USS Laffey is my favorite, being from SC myself.

Is this patch compatible with the DUW mod? Will the DUW mod work if I install it before I install this patch or after I install this patch?

Some maps (Endgame and Ring Of Fire) on Island Capture make the clients lose connection after everything is loaded. Then about five seconds later the host gets the message everyone disconnected and the game closes the lobby. Is there a fix for this?
All of us are on BSmodHQ v4.1.
Those two maps are the only two I found with Essex-class carriers, which I would like to use with my friends on a Ranked game.

I did try to play BSmodHQ (+ 4.1 update) with my bro through LAN - but nothing worked.
We used Xliveless from PcGamingWiki and RadminVPN.
Did we do something wrong, or this mod is unplayable through LAN ?
