[BrickIt News] #1 – Changes!
In our first official update, we wanna introduce the current changes of the BrickIt Mod. In addition to a change of the engine, there has been a change of the server, too, as well as a cooperation and of course we show you again new pictures of the BrickIt Mod.

#1 – Changes!
In our first official update, we wanna introduce the current changes of the BrickIt Mod. In addition to a change of the engine, there has been a change of the server, too, as well as a cooperation and of course we show you again new pictures of the BrickIt Mod.
New Engine
Surely the most important alteration, which although is already known, is the use of the Unreal III Engine.
We're looking forward to work with the new engine and let the challenges, linked with the change, come.
New Server
With the change of the engine, we had to change the server, too. With us no longer using the CryEngine2 we were not able to keep the server running on www.cryedit.net. As an interim solution, we went to a freebie hoster for a while. With the provider financing the hosting with advertisement, it was seen by force on the page. Our new server is courtesy of Ivan, leader of the GAMEOVER modification. Your stay on the homepage will be no longer deranged by advertisement, and the page is on a much faster server now.
Cooperation with GAMEOVER
Since the beginning we've worked closely with the team of the GAMEOVER modification. This cooperation will now be developed. As well as the common forum is our homepage on their server. We're sure, that both teams will profit from this cooperation and that it will eventually lead to a faster release of both mods.
BrickIt MG
In the end we wanna show you something new. The first renders of our machinegun have arrived just from the BrickIt arms factory. It's of course not as precise as the assault weapon or even the sniper, compensates this disaadvantage with an enormours firerate and a bigger clip.
Feedback
Beside the newspages is the forum the link to you, the community. We ask you to use it. Make suggestions, say what you don't like, critize or laud us. No matter what, our feedback is very important for us. We would appreciate new ideas and give you this way the possibility to improve the BrickIt Mod. So register in our forum and discuss with us. :)
Recruitment
We could use help in every category. No matter if you can model, code or texturize or have completely other skills, which take our mod a step futher. Just apply in our forum. We don't bite ;)

I want Ut3 just for this mod looks so awesome !!!. Wish i had Ut 3 to play this.

DID YOU CANCEL THE CRYSIS MOD? Noooo. I don't have any other mods to look forward to besides the 28 Months Later mod, and that's probably going to suck. :[

If you use no custom sound files this can go onto PS3, but that would be a shame, because it's probably funniest with some lego-soldier voices. Cool to see it coming to Unreal - is this project affiliated with the BF2 mod, or are you different people?
which bf2 mod do you mean?
