Legends of the 3rd Age (formerly: Blue Wizard Mod) adds two new playable factions, Lothlorien and Moria, to The Battle for Middle-earth(tm). These factions come with a fully functional AI. It also enhances the original factions with additions and changes the gameplay. The focus here is clearly on multiplayer. Units and structures are designed to fit in the original game's style.

What is new in BWM?

BWM adds Elves as a new playable faction and adds new heroes/units to the vanilla factions. The AI is now a lot stronger, Elves come with a working AI and many more things have been added! Scroll down to the changelog to find out what else has changed!

How to install BWM?

1. Make sure to have Patch 1.06 installed properly. BWM should also work with Patch 1.03 but this has not been tested.
2. Download the BWM installer from ModDB and run it.
3. Install BWM in your "My Battle for Middle-earth Files" folder. The installer will then create a separate shortcut for BWM.
