Legends of the 3rd Age (formerly: Blue Wizard Mod) adds two new playable factions, Lothlorien and Moria, to The Battle for Middle-earth(tm). These factions come with a fully functional AI. It also enhances the original factions with additions and changes the gameplay. The focus here is clearly on multiplayer. Units and structures are designed to fit in the original game's style.

This is the old, 4:3 version of v0.135. It's not supported anymore.

Why no instructions on how to install ?
Because you just download and run an installer that does everything for you. It creates a new Shortcut and puts the bwm.big file in the 'My Battle for Middle-earth files' directory. It's really straightforward.
Unless of course you want to install it for MacOS or Linux. I don't know if the mod works on these Operating Systems.
In any case, in case you have not already found out, I want to remind you that this is the 4:3 version. There's also a 16:9 version if your monitor is 16:9: Moddb.com
