Bloodstone: The Journey Home is a third person role-playing total conversion of Valve’s Half Life 2 - Episode One, using the Source engine. In this modification, Khrinz, a common farm boy is plunged into an unknown world of magic and deceit, on the brink of an unstoppable invasion by a technologically advanced race. Bloodstone - The Journey Home is being developed by the 3rd year project group "Greenhorn Production" of the "Computer and Video Games" course at the University of Salford, UK. THIS MOD REQUIRES EPISODE ONE.
I just spend all day downloading and it's corrupt! not happy!
Kudos, you got my track, does it REQUIRE EP1? HL2 and EP1 have the same engine, double doh!

In that case, I must say, that source engine 2...
Looks exactly the same as source engine one, feels the same, same stutter/lag/crashes at times.
Meh, they got me fooled.
HL2, HL2:DM, DOD:S, CS:S, EP1 all run on the same engine - the one that got updated for Episode 1. Portal, TF2 and EP2 are the ones that use a different version of the Source engine.
Check it out for yourself with the SourceSDK.
It does require Episode One, however Source SDK Base can be used to play mods. See the comments on the mods front page here on ModDB on how to launch with Source SDK Base. :)

I had to install this twice. I did not now that you had to change the file dirctory in the setup. cant wait to play this

You just need to set the Installation Folder to your "..\Steam\Steamapps\Sourcemods" folder as instructed.
Damn, after i started my PC today, steam would not find the game, first time this has ever happened. It is not listed in my steam games, but it used to be listed, how can i fix this?
soz, after i rebooted it was there, but wouldnt work, so i changed the
"SteamAppID" in "gameinfo.txt" to "320" ( Half Life 2, but 220 is the direct one i think. ) instead of "380"
( Source SDK Base ) so now i use hl2 instead of source sdk base! xD
nice rpg gonna download i hope its ownz like other cool rpg games :D
