Blood and Iron is a modification for Napoleonic wars set mainly between 1870 and 1880. The aim is to give the players a good representation of the era, balanced and fun game-play, immersive maps, and a generally good time. The third update is currently under development, and it will bring you lots of new possibilities and two new factions.
An almost complete battle map - This map is meant for larger numbers. You'll need teamwork to survive as you set up ambushes and flanking movements on enemy positions. Cavalry will have to think twice about how they use themselves in the forests, it'll probably be better to employ some "mounted infantry" tactics here... The forest is a safe haven for infantry (the trees are tall, so you can see clearly in 3rd person) but watch out for the inevitable blind artillery bombardments to shake your skirmish position.
