Well after some further investigating from some fellow B2EC users it turns out there were still a few kinks in the extra enemy spawning feature and reinstalling of the civilians. So, this update is here to take care of these issues. 6.1 should be the last and final release for B2EC.
It seems that there was an unresolved issue in the last release that allowed dead enemies to spawn an extra enemy if the game was saved and reloaded. This issue has been fixed. There was also a bug that spawned extra enemies inside of walls sometimes. This has been fixed. And there was also an oversight that caused Civilian's skins to bug out and not appear properly when killed by MELEE damage type attacks. This has been fixed.
On top of the fixes, I also set up the extra spawning enemy feature to have a 50/50 chance of not happening at all to further add some randomization to the whole feature. The extra enemy is now spawned in front of the original enemy with a chance of being a bit to the left or right of that original enemy. This extra enemy feature is now 100%.
Thanks to:
Dude27th for doing extensive testing on the entire game using this latest build. Your dedicated attention to detail helped a lot. I'm glad you finally finished the game for the first time thanks to B2EC.
Amphos for helping out with how to properly implement the extra enemies feature to keep from having dead bodies spawn an extra enemy when loading a saved game. Your genius intellect has saved my feeble mind.
Thanks for another update.
Stay bloody,
Berzerk2k2
my weapons arent spawning when I go to a new level
Aye, same here.
same, any idea lol?
the crosshair does not appear for me even when i have it on
Do the changes that this mod makes work in Bloodbath mode? Or does it only work in the pseudo-coop mode the readme talks about?
Firstly I wish to thank you for making this, Blood 2 gets even closer to its original vision with Extra Crispy. I always loved Blood 2 besides the bugs, but you made this game play and look more gloriously than ever, and that's no easy task.
I have some problems while quicksaving with this mod on; it freezes the game while hiding all the UI, the only way I can get out is by alt+f4.
I found a way to circunvent this by creating 2 saves the moment a new level loads, then the quicksaves get back to normal (although sometimes while quickloading, Caleb falls through the floor).
I think this happens because the Extra Crispy mod creates a separate save folder inside the "save" one in the game directory, do you have any ideas?
