Your goal is to build your troops and to destroy the enemy as the Axis, Allies or Soviets. Blitzkrieg 3 builds upon a lasting tradition of excellence, a tradition that is preceeded by the highly successful Blitzkrieg 1 (for Red alert 2) and Blitzkrieg 2 (for C&C:Generals). For those of you familiar with Blitzkrieg 2, I can describe Blitzkrieg 3 as a streamlined version of it. We have taken what we've learned worked and enhanced it, while at the same time have removed or overhauled what didn't work. Although Blitzkrieg 3 inherits the core gameplay elements of Blitzkrieg 2...it is not a port of it. We have all new models and textures.

Today we brought up the Blitzkrieg 3 website, as well as its moddb page.

Blitzkrieg 3 is the latest edition of WW2 RTS mods. Blitzkrieg 1 was for Red alert 2, and Blitzkrieg 2 was for C&C:Generals. We decided to make Blitzkrieg 3 for the upcoming "The Battle for Middle Earth" for several reasons. The first one is that it uses a heavily optimized version of the engine used for C&C:Generals. The second one is that with their dynamic campaign system, we can create a unique WW2 campaign...letting you fight the second world war the way you want to (instead of having to follow history).
