In the distant future a new moon has been discovered in the shadow of Heliph-57F. The discovery was not only made by humans, but an insectoid alien race called the Xenamorphs have also laid claim to the moon. The two races have battled for centuries and their weapons have grown to such tremendous power that they could destroy an entire planet. Both Human and Xeanamporphs decided to settle who gets control of the newly discouvered moon through a race. Each side would get 3 racers. The human vehicals made from metals and the alien vessels created from flesh. The Centre for Arts and Technology is proud to present Blackout. Blackout is the Centre's second game developed in class. Blackout is being developed by seven Game Art and Animation students under the name Wretched Sloth Productions, with the helpful guide of a technical lead and executive producer.

Tonight, at the Okanagan Film Awards, 5 awards were handed out in 5 categories: Documentary, Animation, Music Video, Short Film National/International, Short Film. In the Animation category, "Snap!" developed by members of Wretched Sloth won the Technical Award and Overall. The Creative award went to a stop motion short called "chair" by Kyle Sandilands.
"Snap!" is the story about a young boy who has been bullied for his entire life and he finally has had enough. Accepting on behalf of the team was no other then the Producer, Francisco Carreón Argudín and Wretched Sloth team member Stephen Chmilar. Both Stephen and Francisco hope to repeat the success of "Snap!" with "Forsaken", a short developed by the other half of Wretched Sloth about 2 explorers who stumble across that should have been kept hidden...
