Better than ever, Black Copper has been put back into full gear over at the Dead-Risen.com studio. Currently, I'm developing a brand new story line, as well as mapping as I go on. Currently there's two out of who knows how many planned locations. The first, is an old, abandonned clinic, which was still under construction. Its eerie lighting and questionable lack of inhabitants strikes many nerves and helps set a mood to the entire game. This dark mood is then lightened up with the second map, which is a rather nice little hotel on the same block.
Currently, I'm not too sure where everything is going, whether this is taking place in a city, or in a small town, but my direction is shooting for a game that takes place on a single block, wherever it is. The main character will be chasing someone as an act of revenge. Along the way, the player will encounter things not worth encountering. The game is going to contrast good and evil, each location will mirror the last and upcoming location, i.e. the Clinic is a dark and deserted hell-hole, while the Hotel level is a neutral, rather safe place.
