Although most elements within the xuniverse stay the same, this mod adds in a Battlestar Galactica start, along with all the ships, stations and weapons you would find in the BSG universe. Outstanding textures / individual mods along with a good new storyline, not altering the regular storyline provided by the original developer.
Possibility to play with both vanilla version of the game / or (/with) the modified version makes the mod a great addition to the fan community of both X Universe and Battlestar Galactica altogether.
The highly detailed version of the world of Battlestar Galactica including the considerable large number of ships and most especially capital ships makes the mod one of the best experience of the genre out there ever released at the time speaking (compared with all games pointing the same scene!)
Thrilling spirit of adventure motivating the user to carry on with his journey from day one until completing the main storyline is the forte of the BSG mod.
The downside of this release is the not-so-explicit documentation and probably the lack of all BSG-related theme songs, but the rest should cover just fine and hopefully transpose the gamer into the glorious days of the Colonial Fleet encountering the fearless Cylon threat.
