The Black Hole cruisers are employed in a very
defensive role, guarding the massive factory ships
and aircraft carriers from submarine and aircraft
attack. Small fuel reserves limit it's
impressive speed, forcing it to a crawl at
cruising speed. Only by truely pressing it's
fuel stores does the ship get any real speed.
However, the ammunition reserves for it's two
anti-aircraft turrets are fairly sizable and their
shell are effective against both air and sea
targets, due in part to a high rate of fire. Their
depth charges double as highly effective mines,
making this vehicle a defensive force to be
respected.
