Battle of Empires : 1914-1918 is project meant to tell the untold story of one of the bloodiest war in the history of mankind - First World War. Based on engine of well known strategy game Men of War this project will take you through the whole war in 5 large-scale single-player and coop campaigns - you will experience deadly landings in the batlle of Gallipoli, famous battle at Verdun, first tanks attack and many more important events of that war. Project will be both singlplayer, and multiplayer.5 single campaigns are planned : 1) French 2) German 3) Russian 4) British 5) Bonus - missions for different countries (as bonus campaign in Men of War) In multiplayer there will be 5 countries - France, Britain, Russia, Germany and Austro-Hungary.

If there are no more mistakes then I am pretty happy. English is not my first language, so it's not easy for me to write such diary entries for the loading screens. Though I'll probably never understand that part of English grammar with an articles :(
Don't worry, i still get confused and im amazed you know two languages, i know there are many people who know differing languages but... WOAH, your pretty much fluent in english but just remember to add the, it really does make a difference though, Other that that amazing mod, the only game and mod im really looking forward to, had some fun playing MOW: Condemned heroes but this mod will blast that sky high. Also, can i ask you what you were thinking when you first made this mod and what made you want to make it?

Three languages actually. I know Estonian (had to learn it as I live in Estonia), Russian (my first language) and English. I also learn German. But I have been learning it only for a few months, so I am not really good at it.
Well, it was a long time ago when I started. As far as I remember, I saw a topic about possibility of ww1 mod for MoW on one forum. And I thought - why not to try ? I wanted to play good ww1 game, because I am really interested in history and especially in ww1. And great MoW modding capabilities allowed to fulfill this dream. It was really hard at first - I had to learn 3d modeling, texturing, mapping and all that stuff. Though it wasn't the hardest part. It was much harder to make a good team - I knew I couldn't do it all alone. It took more than 6 months to gather the team. And it was really worth it - not only they helped me to make this mod (I must thank them for good tips on modelling and scripting, half of the maps and missions, music and voice-overs) but they became my true friends.

But that is an inspirational story, I have been wanting to make a halo mod for men of war but have never had the time (Because of school) or effort (Because im tired most of the time) to do so, I might just stat to try and..... become good at modelling lol.
Im also intrigued by ww1 due to the pure scale of it all and I get really annoyed with young arrogant kids these days saying that ww1 was "Boring" and they can't even name one battle or offensive, let alone how it all started. Anyway, I hope your Extremely proud of what you have made, Best strategy, well I guess you could call it game, BEST strategy game I have seen and Im longing to see the amazingness pop up on my scene before me :)
