The Battle Grounds 2 and Battle Grounds 3(BG3) are Half-Life 2 multiplayer modifications based on the American War of Independence (1775-1783). The British Army and its Native American tribal allies engage in battle against the United States Continental Army and militia forces. Take aim and fire muskets, prepare bayonets and take control of the battlefield to succeed in your campaign for final victory. Combat will vary from long-range rifle marksmanship to brutal close quarters hand-to-hand melee fighting. You will need a mix of first person combat skills and quick-thinking strategy to survive. So prepare yourself to do battle for your side and to meet the enemy head-on. Only one side can be victorious.

Please get some new textures for the red house, that texture has the "old hl2" feeling to it :)
The map is a remake, therefore it was my full intention to leave the original style. The map dates back to 2005-2006 and was in BG2 until version 0.16. The map was taken out due some problems and is now coming back in a much better version than ever.
I did change things such as the flag positions, modify the layout slightly and change a lot of the details. The asthetics are the pure 2005 BG2 look, without many of BG2's own materials and models that we have now. The map is a fine contrast to the maps that are more based on our own content, as it makes good use of HL2 materials and Tomdon's own works (he was the mapper).
If I download this will I be ripped off and the first time I play there is no servers on? Because that has happened with like the last 3 mods i've downloaded.
