This is a total conversion for BfME2. As I am a coder and decided not to make this mod public until I have a first Beta to show there are no new models, skins or other textures included.
The first beta includes one complete faction (The Empire of Tohrnheim) with all new units (swordsmen, pikemen, shieldmen, musicians, blademasters, archers, crossbowmen, light cavalry, knights, paladins, horse archers and siege machines).
This new faction replaces the MotW faction, further releases will replace all other factions and add more, they will also add new special powers and heroes, as right now I only cut the heroes and left the special powers unchanged (except for Army of the Dead, which I disabled).
All units now come in bigger batallions (infantry normaly 30 units each, cavalry 15), melee units do nearly no damage to structures and fire only harms wood-based structures (and does nothing at all to walls, towers or fortresses), there is no way to destroy a base without siege...
Also naval warfare has been improved hopefully, but as the AI doesn't use it I couldn't test it completly... ships are able to ram each other now.

List of maps on which the new increased camera height works:

- Gap of Rohan
- Buckland
- Udun
- Dead Marshes
- Evendim
- Tournament Hills
It should also work on most custom maps, at least it did on those I tested.

The updated version 0.11 (major fixes to ships, some smaller changes most of them concerning the cost of some other units... also the first two dwarven units are included if one wants to get some kind of idea of what they are like. They are highly overpowered right now I'd say...) of the Battle for Grollins mod for Battle for Middle Earth 2 is now available for download at moddb.com. Surprisingly more than 100 people already downloaded this mod from moddb.com without any major news or active topics on other pages... so to everybody who downloaded this mod: Thank you very much. And, the next thing: I recently got an request by the German games magazine GameStar asking for a permission to include the mod on their DVD so it soon might be featured in one of the next issues. I have just hope they don't release the outdated version 0.1...

well i've made the mod and it workds quite well. You were right when u said that the Empire isn't balanced against the other factions but so far no major bugs that i could find

put the BfG file into the Battle for Middle Earth 2 files. to play the mod clcik the BfG batch file. if the game doesn't start then press on the normal version's icon and it should now start but with the mod working so u would play the mod not the normal game.
