lol it was Michieal Kalashnikov that came up with the design and manufacturing company of this weapon
But someone made a prototype for it, but died before it could be extensively tested. Someone else finished the project.
not really no only the outer shape of the AK was copied from various russian prototypes from as early as 1943-44 IE Alexander Suadev's AS-44 & Tokarev 7.62x41 experimental assault rifle tested in late 1945.
