BAKUMATSU: End of Shogunate is a mod which takes place in Japan in the Year 1868, its about the Bakumatsu (jap. End of Bakufu) and the Meji Restoration. in this historically accurate mod you can decid: be a shimazu samurai, a Satsuma Warrior, a Tokugawa Fighter, a Vassal of the Emperor, or establish your own Empire and conquer Japan.

Hello Guys, we continued working on the mod and well make some new changes that will be finished in some weeks i hope: new Uniforms (more realistic for US and Japanese Empire), new Horses (sattled Horses for the modern Nations), new Maps, Map-Fixes, New Menus, Ranking Systems on Uniforms, more Instances specially for Millitias, new animations (Samurai anims, Musket anims),new Weapons ( Revolvers, Repeating Rifles, Carbines)

This looks amazing.. I myself have always thought of a Mount and Blade set in southern Asia...I wish I could help but I can't think of anything really..
also you say US Colonies.. your talking about the United States? Aren't they a bit umm.. far?
Have you watched The Last Samurai?There was a very similar historical event.By very similar I mean the events of the movie didn't exactly happen but the setting (americans and Imperialistic japanese clans taking over)was a real event.
The United states used to trade a lot in japan.

First of all the whole team wants to thank you for your patience.
the new version is not out yet because of a bug, i heard of we want to fix before next release. Some People said they can not buy guns in the citys, we dont know the reason exactly, but we think they are buyable (because they are set on "buyable") but its hard to find them because to many of the old items are still buyable, deleting the old items is not possible anymore, its too late for that. because the items are certified with numbers not with names, and the number changes if you delete one. we already had this problem, and its very hard to fix. so now were setting all the old items to not buyable, this are about 700, so its much work, also ere all students, so we dont got the time to work all night and all day, and we got othe projects too. but we want to finish thiss work soon. When this is down theire will be the next release.
