As for me removing recoil and making weapons completely "easy" is not good idea. It will be cool if weapons will has on higher difficulty "real" recoil, that means weapon will be moving up when player fires, without restore to original aiming position, and dynamic bullet spread, for example weapon's first shoots will be precise and become innacurate when player continue firing in auto mode, and after fire its need some time to decrease to precise accuracy, or make some more advanced recoil-spread system like Ballistic Weapons for UT2004 did: Youtube.com

And another small suggestion, can you make NPC-only guns like AlyxGun and Annabelle properly usable by player? Like alyxgun in HL2CTF: Youtube.com and Onemanshow's Annabelle weapon for SMOD: Youtube.com

Easy Difficulty: No recoil/view punch for all weapons, pistol's dynamic spread disabled, the shotgun is now a semi-automatic weapon, no bullet drop for crossbow, RPG's rocket ignition is instantaneous.

Medium and Hard Difficulties: Recoil/view punch for all weapons restored, pistol's dynamic spread restored, the shotgun is now a pump-action only weapon, bullet drop for crossbow restored, RPG's rocket ignition takes 0.3 seconds, just like in vanilla HL2.
