I wish nexus was able to create a cutting beam effect. That would be awsome and just like in the show.

the enginge for the second nexus game could do somehting like that i think (have fun by stealing the enginge ^^ you would be good for all nexus fans !!!)

just to add to my message: so you could cut the ship in half Maybe when the ship is at low health so that it dosent get destroyed in one shot. But i know its not possible.

well just an idea, maybe after big boom just add two wrecks of ship properly edited :) with the right moment of explosion it could be really convincing. Actually I never liked such a clean explosion effect in nexus, always wanted some kind of bigger debris left in a field :)

There can be done "falling apart" animation. If you add "CollapseTo X" (X=shipclass) line to SHIPCLASS lines and that new mesh has def animation and end of animation set to infinity(or somthing like that), you will get "falling apart" animation and destroyable wreck at the end. It's only my theory, I've never tried it before but I'm going to try it in this mod. ;)
