What does this mod add? This is a modification for Hearts Of Iron 4 which adds a new division called "Assault Troops" which are based off of German Stormtroopers and Soviet Shock troops. This new division gets bonuses when fighting in forest, plains, rivers, urban and fort terrains. Due to these bonuses, the units training time is increased and requires more manpower and equipment.

I like the idea, but in the sake of ''realism'' these early special forces would usually be small divisions armed with extra grenades, and light weight weapons so they could travel the battle field quicker. (I might be thinking about WWI actually, just gonna put that out there) and so shouldn't they take fewer equipment and man power? I would be completely chill with them having their own research branch that doesn't kick off until a little later in the game so their op doesn't come in until nations are already pretty strong, then give them disadvantages on flat ground and have them start only slightly better than the normal divisions at first and slowly get more and more OP with each research.
Well, this is something that was really needed in the game. Before i made my elite units out from mountaneers. Now i can have actual elite units
