One-man mod. Planed to have over 40 playable factions. Going for realism with units ragin' from as early as late world war 2 to near future units. Mod will be release in the near future, as i plan to release early betas instead of holding on to something that never get released anyway.

Everything went fine, i had an awesome time. Now all i have to look forward to is the move, setting up a new workspace. Everything is ready on that front, but here is the news for Today.

First of all i would like to thank the community, the guys that wrote on the forum, they made a some good wishlist for units and factions and they will most surely end up in good hands when i start to do more factions.

The United States light vehicles are almost complete as far as i can tell. i would like to that p*a*t*t*o*n
for his contributions, not only has he commented and told me that i done a great job, but he went way past that and helped out with some recommendations when it comes to the US side, i would like more people to follow in his footsteps in the future, comments are always nice but recommendations for similar or better / more uptodate units are always welcome.

For the alpha that's coming up, i cant remeber if i already told you, but you'll be able to duke it out against vanilla china and vanilla GLA only. I would like it if you people could beta test the living crap of the mod and battle it out united states vs united states, find the weakness, find whats overpowered.

There wont be alot new in the alpha release that i haven't already told. Some units will be in the game but without all the functions (LAV-25 will be in, but wont be ambibious until a later relase) and so on. Also i have another idea that i plan to put in.

First of all me and a friend of mine brainstormed abit about alternative ways for an economy ingame, rather then the supply lines we could maybe use a command point system where you need to take over buildings scattered around the map and hold these to gain money, your command center would also gain money for you, but in such a small amount that it would'nt be worth having more command centers just for the money income. Other ideas will follow but this is just on paper now, nothing i plan to add in for awhile, if ever.

Something else that will be awesome, people that would like to contribute to the game can pick up their world builders and start making maps for Assault Horizon, my plan was not only to add factions but also add some new civilian buildings so that the levels in assault horizon would be alot more unique. So start now, or start later when i release some civilian models to spice up your maps. You could then upload the map here for download (as an addon), and if the map is good enough, i will release it with the mod, credits given. I think that would be awesome.

I would love to help you with the maps, but I am busy doing maps for Zero Hour Enhanced.

I would prefer you reduce the playable faction, make by most 4. But hell man, your model is awesome, and I can't wait for your next update.

Please take the CWC economic system as opposed to the VGO system! I really like having some form of 'unit cap' for vehicles, I thought it was original as well a game changing formula! VGO was good but I just don't see the United States military duking it out with another country for a *****-house....but thats just me.

But a quick decision is a good idea on what system you will use because it gives people more time to create maps with specific needs for the economy.
