Aperture Tag: The Paint Gun Initiative is will be mod for Portal 2. Inspired by Tag: The Power of Paint, Aperture Tag is just what it sounds like. A Paint gun in Aperture Laboratories. Featuring a new personality core, along with a new story, this mod will provide the player a fun experience on silly and interesting new locations throughout Aperture Science.
What started as a map pack, will grow to a full mod, featuring:
- Voice acting
- Custom Model for the paint gun
- Custom menu
- Custom music
- New maps
- Edited visuals

Hello test subjects!
It is that time of development, when we are finally going to look forward to release on Steam! And to celebrate that I have a whole bunch of news!
First, we are in Greenlight
So head over there and please cast your vote there! We need all of your support! We did a new trailer video for it, which I am sure you'll enjoy!
Second, what is that in the preview picture? It's the paint gun! Yup! We are much more closer to having a finalized version! It still is a work in progress, so let me know what you think and what can be modified for it.
Third, the whole mod has voicelines and it's mapped out! That means that we have a full playable game at this stage! Now it is just polish, polish polish and detailing and replacing the palceholders with finalized pictures. This might take some time, but it will be worthed for the best experience possible to offer you. I decided to also release some new pictures which I am sure you guys will enjoy!
And before I forget,
there is a DEMO! It's actually just a map, that is not in the mod. So it will not spoil any content for you. Its very polished and it offers the best insight of what the mod will be like, given that the old workshop maps are getting old. I hope you enjoy it.

Wtf... this isn't even a standalone game, charging for this is totaly unfair.
well he kind of made a whole new game in a game so $4.99 isn't a bad price
If i need to buy another game to play this.. it is a bad price. The Stanley Parable it is in his core a Portal 2 Modification but it is 100% standalone, i don't need to buy p2 in order to play... i already fall in this trap for this when i bought Gmod, that is nothing more then a Moneymaker for Valve then it is for Garry.
And with that said, I think we all agree! Mods should be free, and "Games" should be paid for!
