Already played this one as it was included with part 1.
"the Prisoned map was actually really unique, a custom monster and you face a series of challenges along the way to freedom, really enjoyable, not the longest, but very cool concept."

Agree Disagree

Positives:

- Nice ideas
- Not a cliche story line
- Never used before quests

Negative:

- Huge bugs
- Almost no scares and the few this story offered are lame
- Almost zero hints/notes/mementos etc
- The story doesn't have many twists and is very predictable
- A few logical failures

Conclusion:

- This story offers intresting levels with a not so cliche story line. It just doesn't perform very well.

- The story is full of bugs and logical fails. Like if you forget an item and moves on without it, you are stuck and forced to load from a previously saved game. I'm glad I found that auto save area. It only appeared once through out the whole story though. A disappointment.

One of the outside parts doesn't have any block boxes so I could climb in the trees and jump out from the map.

The last key was called "silver key", but it was a bronze key lol.. (one of the "logical failures").

- No cheap scares ey? Well, the only scares I encountered included naked guys flying into doors, hanging around in a closet or people banging on doors.

- The story was, as I said, not a cliche for once. With cliche I mean "You are trapped in unkown castle, get out". It was, however, very predictable and had almost no twists at all. In other words, nothing really happened while I played.

-----------------------------------------

I think it's an okay story line and you have a lot of potential, but it needs to be polished... a lot.

5/10 - Average

Here are some observations:

--> I don't know if it can be missable or not but what happens if you fall down the hole WITHOUT the "strange tinderbox"? Do you get stuck? or there are other means of getting that item?

--> The whole flashback scene with the hammer and the crowbar wasn't explicit enough. I actually got stuck there twice until I figured out to get the hammer (no instructions made it all much harder than it should have been). It seems that touching the orb WITHOUT the proper use of the hammer won't do anything because you'll still be stuck on the flashback.

--> You claimed that there would to be some scares but not "cheapscares". I don't know about you but a naked guy going through a door with the lovely iron maiden scream is exactly what I would call cheap. And the other one, again, with the same aggressive scream, inside the closet? What was the purpose?

So, while there are some flaws (in which I got stuck numerous times) I still enjoyed this CS but I cannot give more than 7 for now. Try to fix the technical issues by giving more instructions and make the character more observant like "Hum... I should take that with me" in order to prevent the player from getting stuck.
