You awaken in your home, with no memories of the past few weeks. Your wife is nowhere to be found. Through the windows you can only see inky blackness. What’s more, you can hear something stalking the hallways of your home. And it’s getting closer.

In the next couple days, I'll be releasing a new version that will fix just about every major bug that people have been running into. Like the last one, I will release this as a stand-alone version so that people have no need for the previous updates.
Fixes will include, among others:
--The elevator doors flying off and dropping the framerate
--Weeper not attacking the player anymore after losing sight of them
--Sanity drain turning back on after reloading a save game
--Matchbox bugs (not being able to light a candle, tinderbox icon showing up where it shouldn't)
I've been getting reports of crashes at two major places: When entering the second floor, and when opening the safe. However, no one has given me any bug reports or error messages that might give me a clue as to what might be causing the crashes, so I can't do anything at the moment.
If you're reading this and have had issues with crashes, please message me or comment here with any error message your receive or bug report the game gives you, and I'll work toward getting those crashes fixed too.

Ok, so I'm getting a bug in this game I've downloaded the most up to date version of this custom story not the translations since I don't speak those languages and I get the matches and they go into the tinderbox section I don't have a matchbox in my inventory I looked at at SwankestCZ's walkthrough it looks like he or she is playing in the czech version but as I said I can't speak nor read czech, and I watched till the point I'm on, and it seems I'm suppose to have a matchbox in my inventory but don't so I can't light the candle to open the secret passage, anyone else have this bug or just me, I may try this in other full conversions I have installed on my computer to see if they have the same issue or not, note I'm using the Steam version so help would be appreciated. So i've now tried it in full conversions that have custom story sections and the same thing happens. I think it may be a missing texture or scripting conflict or something, I'll try the czech version to see if there is any script fixes or textures if not then I will await an answer. Nothing in the czech version but the language file so I'll await an answer.
Hi. This is definitely a problem on your computer. It doesn't matter the language version, because I played the mod myself in all language versions and the problem you described never occurred.

For some reason when I try to play this custom story Amnesia stops working.
Scary as hell!
I'm having a issue that when I return to the first floor with the safe key the secret passage is closed and the candle lit.
I watched some walk-thru videos and it appears it should be open.
I have opened the safe and have both chemical batteries.
I even loaded a older second floor saved game and played from that point and had the same issue with the secret passage closed.
Has anyone seen this problem or maybe I'm just doing something wrong?
