A modification and update to Kontra Kommando's Aliens TC 2017 [v1.2] remake of the original Aliens TC by Justin Fisher
Touched up Kontra's Alien (TC) 2017 v1.2 file Aliens (TC) [v 1.2] by converting the Dehacked lump into decorate for the various decorations so that everything will render and behave correctly on Zandronum and GZDoom(including the flashlight with GZDoom's change to pitch calculations). And added NET to the scripts so that this can be played online with zandronum.
Aliens can now spit acid at you from a distance, pumpaction shotgun will continue to fire as long as you hold the fire button down, file structure cleaned-up, as well as the monster and weapon code.
Update 11/13/2023: Updated to AliensPC 2017 v1.1 and adjusted enemy spawners to stay closer to the original intent.
Update 12/16/2023: Updated to AliensPC 2007 v1.2, acid blood on the ground no longer hurts the player (flying acid blood does), bug fixes to weapons, smaller blood decals.
Why are only Xeno Runners spawning, what happened to the other types?
Which map? The few I play tested had all the types spawning like on E2M2 and E3M1.
This will be fixed in the next release, I just made all the enemy randomspawners spawn the same set of aliens with the basic xeno having the highest probability > drone > warrrior > runner > dragoon as the lowest probability. So this should be closer to the original intent of AliensTC and a lot less of the later alien variants.
