I can help you on Pointe du Hoc maps, not making them, but giving historical reference ;)
for Pointe Du Hoc, Companies Dog, Easy and Fox landed there while Able, Baker and Charlie landed at Omaha Beach with the 5th Ranger Battalion it was planned that 5th and the rest of 2nd Rangers land at Pointe Du Hoc, but that was if the 2nd Rangers reported back to the fleet saying they reached the top of the cliffs... however all Radios were destroyed and the Rangers at Pointe Du Hoc could not report back... so they were on their own until June 8th when the rest of the Rangers from Omaha Beach and elements of the 116th Infantry Battalion from the 29th Infantry Division arrived... in the end 225 Rangers went ashore and only 90 were left standing on June 8th
