The Krasukha (Russian: Красуха; English: Belladonna or Deadly Nightshade) is an ESDF mobile, ground-based, electronic warfare (EW) system which replaces the obsolete Blackout jammer system. The "Krasukha” operates on the principle of creating powerful interference at all main, spare and reserve frequencies and modes of operation of radars and other specialized radio-emitting systems and facilities.
The Krasukha is a T3 support unit for ESDF forces which can effectively disable the weapon systems of most ground units. Unless ordered to attack a specific target, the Krasukha will ‘distribute’ its jamming signal against groups of units.
When attacking enemy bases, Krasukha support vehicles can disable base defense weapon systems and the radar of a command center. As a support vehicle, the Krasukha is lightly armored and vulnerable to enemy infantry. It should be escorted as it doesn't carry weapons which inflict conventional damage.
