The last two updates mainly concerned AI issues :)
Are there any new factions or units in the more recent updates?
Sorry, I misunderstood your question. There might be in future updates, for now I was smoothing some minor errors. I always attach a change-log to my projects' downloads since the last few years.
That's a stand alone part II with a completely new scope: Celtic Mythology. The initial bug is fixed now, so everyone should be able to download and explore :)
Must.... build.... Wonder...!
Dear all,
some people have reported an error message when trying to play the mod. The reasons are currently not clear, because on other PCs and laptops it runs flawlessly...
ThaneWulfgharn made it run by renaming the executable of part I (Bloodreign in Transylvania) to the executable of part II (Spooks of Scotland). That is, rename avs to vii. On my laptop that still starts part I, but it seems that it fixes the error for some people and then part II starts correctly.
Bests,
Ivacula/Khan Ivayl/Ivo
i prove the rename of avs to vii, but when i open the executable it open the default game (the conquerors) and it is not open the mod. :S
Check ThaneWulfgharns more detailled explanation below. I think I wrongly summarized his strategy. It is hard to find the origin of the bug itself, because it does not happen on my PC/laptop...
i have the same problem... i cant play the mod, when i open it, i have a message that said abour the error and i cant open it
Hold on, I will share a general message about that...
Oh man sorry. I just saw the reply. No actually I didn't do exactly that.
I went to "Games" folder and renamed "vii" to "avs" (xml files). Then I run through "avs.exe" the executable of part I (since they were both installed in the same folder).
So on simple words it requires "vii" of games folder renamed to "avs" and then it needs to run through the avs.exe of part I.
I don't know if I'm being clear.
Thanks, also to avoid issues I made a second AoV file containing the new avs.xml to make it easy for play between the two different mods.
yes. i can play the mod now... thanks
