Across the Battlefields is a WW2 hl2:2 Source Mod which means all you will need is Steam + HL2-ep2 to play it the day beta is released (TBA)... A First Person Multiplayer Mod where you can fight side by side with your allied countries on both, Allies and Axis, touching on ww2 Battles from 1939 on through 1945. The Teams are as follows... AtB mod will also feature player driven & shootable tanks, trucks & half-tracks on specific levels to add excitement to the game . There will be a
limited number of tanks (2-4) per level to prevent tank spamming.
As for player game styles, AtB will offer several depending on the level. AtB will include the Classic WW2 "Capture The Area" aka "Flag levels",
"Attack and Defend Objectives" and "Capture the Documents".
Other game styles such as "Capture & Return Hostages" and drivable tank related objective levels
will also be included .

We are Unable to continue working on this mod with current situations so I am closing this page down . Our offical AtB url will remain up for some time incase I deceide to continue working on this project in the future sorry .

You could ad France to allies, so its 4 allies and 4 axis :)
And what part will the armor play in the game?
Yes we could in the future but for right now we have more than enough on our hands , The tanks will be used in small amounts for teamplay objectives like the team will have to advance the tanks to a destination while the other teams defends .... , This will be on certin levels only .
Give me suomi smg and i kill everyone :)
Good job so far. I hope that this mod doesn't die because you rarely could play as italian or finnish.
