You may have noticed a little something extra around in the last update. This double gunned little bugger is the 35mm Gepard tracked anti aircraft vehicle.The Erusians use it to thwart ISAF airstrikes, though it can't defend against everything, so make sure to keep some fighters handy at all times too.
During Operation Bunkershot, the ISAF air forces made many other strikes all along the coastline. One such attack was on a major regional supply base in Son Costas, roughly 160 miles south of where the landing was. Disrupting the supply stocks here would have crushed the complete peninsula, making an ISAF invasion much easier. The ISAF forces weren't prepared for the overwhelming amount of AA vehicles that were deployed, and the attack was a crushing defeat. While the coast was still lost to ISAF forces, the Gepard made it much more difficult and costly for it to be taken.
