A recently abandoned temple with a complex dwemer machine lies in the Nibenay Basin and it's ready to be claimed.

Developer's diary num.10: a lot of new updates and cool screenies.

Guess who's back? :)
MOD'S NOT DEAD.

(and follow/check my Pinterest if you'd like to see which images-references I'm using!)

NON OMNIA POSSUMUS OMNES

Seriously. At this point I'm able to recreate anything from ancient Rome or Greece in Skyrim considering the amount of textures + meshes I've gathered.
However, time is short and very, very, very limited.

As you can imagine I've been putting a ton of effort to expand/finish the roman world, to connect different areas without destroying the immersion and align everything with TES lore. I want to do something special without killing your gameplay and feeling.
Exhausting (only me working on it!), but it has been rewarding.
You're already used to see screenies from the garden of the satyr, so this time I'm going to show you a bit of the rest instead.

Ancient Roman landscapes: Pompei, Ercolano, Ostia

I've been there. I've seen the ruins, I've seen the theaters, the domus, the statues.
And I want all of that in my mod. It gives me a sense of bliss, nostalgia; a dreamlike experience.
Most of the roman world will be like that: a shadow of what it once was.
Once I'm done with basic landscaping I'll work on having an eternal sunset as default weather.
Be careful! the fog around these areas is to be avoided...

Deeper underground

Dark shadows lurk underground. A world of bliss and peace on the outisde, but when a corpse starts to rot maggots thrive inside of it.
However, there are no other ways to reach the fabled garden... take a deep breath and lit your torch!
(I really love this area! took ages to perfection all the details but was worth it.)

Memories

The past never really goes away, especially when memories are still very strong.
At certain hours of the day you will see openings popping up around the world: they will let you experience the glorious past of this realm. There will be two in the first release, but I plan to add more!

(There is way more to it...but I do not want to spoil the beauty before you can see it with your own eyes!)

How did we end up here?

All the realms (the garden, the desert, the forest) will have a background history that will link them to the Abandoned Temple's past. I care about the lore, I swear!
A book will tell you everything. And you'll have to travel a bit first before reaching them...

I know the questions. Let me answer:

1) Do you have a release date?

Nope. But I can say that mod is 85% done.

2) Why is it taking so long?
Please be patient, I'm working on this mod alone with little to no free time lately.
I'm also trying to use it as a project to become an environmental artist and level designer, so I need to be as precise as possible.

2) Will there be a SSE version?
After I'm 100% done with the mod, probably (stop asking it, please!).

3) Quests?
I'll implement several quests + complex dialogues after the alpha release of the next version.

4) Will this mod be on the Nexus or Beth store?
Nope. Only here. For free.

I'll be in touch, I promise. Don't lose hope!

Jesus Christ, it's incredible!!! Thanks so much for the update, it's a marvellous world you've created. And all by yourself, oh my God. Incredible work.
