Thanks to all that came down and saw us at the Freeplay expo. We got a lot of good feedback, as well as some encouraging support as to where to go from here.

If you didn't/couldn't make it don't worry, we we're only two weeks into development at that stage and the game could be surmised with the screen shots that are up now. We had little to no actual gameplay implemented, and were using an easter egg hunt style situation to keep people interested.
However, I'm happy to say that the core evidence system is up, with some of our finale endings in an early prototype stage.

With all of this in mind, the next few weeks will be about asset production, with the aim of filling out our game world as much as possible. The aesthetic we're pleased with, we have been receiving a lot of positive feedback on that subject, so we have our presentation almost locked down.

Over the past couple of days our game director has been experimenting with later versions of the UDK, (We're currently using Feb '10) and the results have given us an even greater level of contrast with an even darker and moodier feel. Definitely more noir!

New media coming soon, once we're happy with what we are showing, and its something genuinely new rather than a rehash of what has already been seen.

Thanks to everyone who's shown interest in this project, we appreciate your time.

Kind Regards,
The Noir Team
