Troops will have one of the following identifiers: A-Archer C-Cavalry I-Infantry H-Horse Archer
Most factions will have multiple troop trees. One from villages and one or more from cities. The noble troops are much more elite but at the same time a lot more expensive and hard to train. Lords will have access to one noble troop tree and their factions militia troop tree.
Every character and troop in the game is placed into a tier from 1-10. Tier 10 is used for heroes and very high quality troops with a lot of difference in between. IE trolls.
The Dwarven troop tree is special as it is recruited by all Dwarven factions. Gundabad and Ered Mithrin troops will act like mercenaries after a Dwarven faction takes the respective settlement.
Here is the first look at a tier 10 troop. This unit is about the weakest in the tier but it's equipment puts it above any average troop tree any other faction can produce.
As always I'd love to hear any suggestions about these or other troop trees :)
Wasn't that Ered Mithrin, not Ered Mithren? Xd
You sir are correct.
Haha ^^ no prob
Khazad-Dum Reclaimer, has someone played DaC? X) haha jk
Troop trees look great :D
I believe they are from FRoME but yes :)
Yeah in DaC, Khazad-Dum Reclaimer are like one of the Elite troops of KD :D
You know what? I cant wait for it thats perfect :D
Dragon slayer of ered mithrin WOW
Can we get goat or hog/pig riders :P
No cav for the dwarves.
May the Valar bless you.
Damn! this is awesome at so many levels! :D i believe that from tier 6 to up they are gonna be very expensive and hard to upgrade, am i right?
I agree with all troop trees.
One thing...aren't you going to had Iron Hills? maybe you could add two units of Iron Hills to the Erebor troop tree but you could only recruit them by having the iron Hills under your control (like the Gundabad units)
Yeah you're right, varying slightly depending on the tree.
Definitely gonna have Iron Hills, can't have the armour without the troops:P Just another case of not creating them yet, same as Ered Luin and Orocarni. It'll work like Gundabad but they will start with Iron Hills ofc.
just to be sure ;) Continue the good work
Where's iron hill lol
Great troop tree lots of great sounding troops and are you gonna have the dwarves of Ered Luin of the Blue Mountains.
Yep, gonna have Iron Hills and the Blue Mountains. Maybe even more special area of recruitment troops too.
great troop tree, I love having a huge variety like this.
After looking at this troop tree for a extended period of time, I noticed thar Khazad Dum Veteren Pike Dwarfs are the same strength/tier as a DRAGON SLAYER OF ERED MITHRIN! Does this make sense? xD
Legendary Dragon Slayer > Experienced Pike Soldier
Same tier doesn't necessarily mean same strength. Khazad dum has the best armour in the game with skilled units. It's just that when you have so many units you run out of badass names.
Dragon slayers should substantially outclass those pikemen. So you bring up a good point, I think the ered mithrin tree will be expanded with dragonslayers brought up to tier 9:)
Could we see Rohan next?
I think they will be in the next set. Although I have shown most of what was completed so I will have to create them and it'll take awhile as I'm busy with other things from the mod.
greatt work
Can't wait to recreate this battle!
There will be custom scenarios for replaying battles from the books and movies, this will likely be one of them:)
So Khazad-dum comes after you reclaim moria or do you start with moria reclaimed? And will there be a balrog you have to destroy before moria gets unlocked (with rediculous stats[50 strength, 30 ironflesh, armor that totals to 300, power strike 30])?
There will be a quest to reclaim and indeed you will have to slay it. Its stats will be high but can'tbe quantified with warband stats. All you need to know is that they will be high:)
