We Welcome you to A Game of Fire and Ice. We are a small group of people who have started to work on a A Game of Thrones themed overhaul for Attila Total War we are not yet in pre-alpha but will let people know when we make more progress. With "A Game of Fire and Ice" we are trying to achieve an epic overhaul mod for Total War: Attila based on the world of "Game of Thrones". Our first goal is to set up the big Factions/ Houses for Multiplayer battling, after we got to this point we will add the smaller Factions/ Houses an we will try to do a whole Campaign Overhaul (as far as we are allowed to, editor based) to give you a real Game of Thrones experience. The era we are basing on is the War of The Five Kings (shortly after Ned Stark's death), but we are not going to stick to the lore completely we will make our own sorts of units that will fit the theme and add variety to the game. Don't hope on a completely lore based mod.

Not a fan of the name. I would go with "Spears of the First Men" or something along those lines. Of course it's your mod, I'm only making a suggestion.

That's look really good mate...maybe u can work a bit on the shoulders to make them more round or adjacent to the arms, but i don't know witch references u ve used...another thing could be to retexture the metal parts to make them seem of the same material...anyway i don't think the name is important, u're the author and u should choose what u prefer...great work

One more thing...since i'm using sallet-style helmets for westerlands maybe u could use more norman-nordic-style for the north, not to mix too much...or i could change mine...dunno, let's see

I noticed the kettle helmet was a common helm of the Baratheon Highgarden forces that joined Stannis' army at Blackwater, Italian celata helmets are definitely the most common for Stark soldiers like the guards with Ned and Howland Reed when Jaimie Lannister attacked. Im just wondering about the shoulder guards? maybe they should be reserved for more heavily armoured Stark men, it seems that Robb
and a few others had shoulders like they did, would be great to see them based on the Stark infantrymen that fought the City Watch in the Red Keep.
Sorry if im waffling i just want you to do really well and give us an epic mod thats both looking good and true to the series :)

Thanks for your time. The Soldiers you described are also in the roster as a Tier 2 Sword Infantry. The shoulder guards of Robb are different and will be reserved for Tier 3 units. As this unit is one of high tier spearmen unit I think they are ok:-) I cant make all units look the same so please accept that I have to be creative...Yes Italian celata helmets will make of the main helmets for the Stark infantry...but still creativity is important to give every single unit it's individual look:-)
