Stargate The Enemy Within is a Stargate based gaming experience / modification being developed on the Powerful Unreal Tournament 3 Engine. This Stargate Mod when released will pull you and / or your Clan right into the Stargate Universe whilst at the same time taking your Stargate experience to the next generation in PC Gaming!! Gameplay Our first public release of this Stargate based Game Modification will of course be the Online Multiplayer Mode. Play alone or play as a team or clan. Play using unique abilities and weaponary of races such as The Tau'ri, Wraith, Ori Warriors and Priors, Goa'uld, Free Jaffa and many more From the Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis Universe. The Singleplayer version of the Mod will then come along at a shortly later date and will actually follow a completely different angle of the storyline than the Multiplayer version! This will give a very interesting incentive to the player to take part in both Modes of the Game!

Howdy Folks!!

Well, as promised, here is the 2nd Part of this months News Update..! First of all, let me apologise for two things...

1) Sorry for not being around a couple of weeks ago to bring you both the new website (Which was to be the little surprise DaAan mentioned) and the 1st Part of the News Update together. As DaAan explained, I had a little mishap and injured my arm etc. Glad to say that all is well again and a Big Thanks to DaAan for filling in and posting in my place and not allowing us to let you folks down!! ;)

And 2) One of our Level Editors 'Ascended' who is working along side 'Timunky' (3D Artist) to bring you an awesome map based on a very well known world from the show is having serious Net issues at the moment, so therefore we are unable to show you the work these 2 seriously talented artists have done so far... And therefore I must apologise also for not being able to give you as much as i would have liked to this time round! But oh well, this cannot really be helped, so I shall push on with the update! :)

Last time around we gave you a look at TommyB's awesome SGC Gateroom... So Here's a little extra Thanks to both Tommy and the Modeling skills of Rurik... Oh and I shouldn't have to mention but of course the Stargate and Ramp assembly were created by DaAan..!

And last but by no means least this time around... I present to you our latest map thanks to our newly assigned Level Editor 'ViperMichael'..! Just before i post the pics... A little info... To be honest, we never planned to include this World for our 1st release. But when we found out that Michael had taken it upon himself to do this as a 'Personal Project' and then we saw the screens of what he had done, we immediately had Michael added to the Mapping Team and his map added to be included in first release, simply because it was looking so incredible! People... We give you...

Well that's it for now folks...! Sorry it couldn't have been more as we had planned, but that's life as they say! lol. Nothing is ever certain and there are always more updates!! ;)

Be sure to remember and check out the New Front End Site if ya haven't done so already! More features and content are to be added to the site very shortly, so be sure to check it out regularly over the next few days and weeks! There'll be something new and interesting added every so often! Oh and, There's also our Forums of Course! ;)

This is just great ! The gateroom has incredible details, you're coming up with something huge there.
A question : Is it possible for the puddle to react on entities or objects passing through just like in the series ? ( I know that in the series they're made by hand but the things passing through are 2D while in your mod these will be actual 3D models and such) Don't know if it's possible to make the event horizont behave like water as seen in Bioshock...
If all that is already done or implemented then just ignore me :P
Good luck and keep up the good work and don't show us too much, I like surprises. ;)

Thanks Pops..! Im glad you like! ;)

And yes... This effect that you speak of is something that we will be working on shortly as we know that it is very possible! Especially with UT3..! At the moment, we are having our gate dialing system prepared for our first release (Coding wise) and once that is done we can then look to perfecting our effects and animations!

Thank YOU !! You are so kind with me and the community so, it's our role to thank YOU for what you're doing ! I just hope you will not collapse under the amount of work involved, but you seem to make a hell lot of progress !
I hope you orion2sirius and the rest of the team are having fun with this project... and you don't own us anything by the way, it's the role of the community to give you hopes back and to support you when you need it (ok this may turn out a bit too dramatic :P ).
So, thanks again and I will try to hinder myself from bothering you with my blah blah.
