This mod is about how Calradia would look like during the times of the 15th Century, depicting it in a hopefully accurate way as it would have happened, taking inspiration from real world countries of the time for each of the game's factions (plus the two new ones to be included).

That part is called the coif, and yes, there's a version in chainmail, which you can see here (coifs on that pic are inter-changeable): Moddb.com
