1429: The Lily and the Lion is a project to improve upon the already fantastic mod 1429: La Guerre de Cent by FantasyWarrior by adding realistic elements of 15th Century France, in the form of: historically accurate characters and banners; reworked companions inspired by history, literature, or our own imaginations; re worked troop trees and items; changed party/garrison sizes, income and upkeep. The mod is largely in French at the moment, but a translation is in the works. As this project progresses hopefully even more features can be added later. Anyone who wishes to work on the mod can contact us, we would be happy to have the help. Thank You!

New Plate, Brigandine, and Gambesons added in a variety of colors!

Posted by on

Over the course of the last few weeks, we have added in many period appropriate Plate, Brigandine, and Gambeson Armors. We are trying to get them in as much of a variety of colors as we can. We are mostly using neutral colors for the armor that our troops wear though, to give the mod a very grim feeling.

Progress on the mod has been slower lately, as I have started to attend school and am starting a new job soon, but we are starting to see a possible release in the near future. We have finalized the French Roster, as well as finished the troop trees for England, France, and Burgundy. We still have to finish Brittany's roster and troop tree (90% finished), and do Burgundy's roster.

we are trying to get as much translated as possible for the first release, and release a more complete translation later on.
