"the traditional objective marker wasn't working"
The 'traditional objective marker' that is in UE3 does run on the ground I believe, or at least it did in UT3, but sadly it seems to not work.

When running the game (UDK October version, Windows 7) it crashes with an error. "UDK.exe has stopped working"
EDIT: Forgot to start from Start Menu, sorry, works fine!
