Hiya! Welcome all to my profile! Well, not really a lot can be say here, I mostly mod and map for the GoldSource engine, though I do mod other stuff here as well. Anyway, hope you enjoy your visit!
Had a thought whether I should make the entrance to the facility itself from the underground refinery or back entrance outdoors. Figured players wouldn't mind the scenery change.
Compiles for way long though (about half an hour without full VIS), and I haven't even done a lot of gameplay related stuff yet (aside from one part in the map's start). Should be some good training here for me to learn my optimization basics.
I'm also trying to think of a way to allow players to see enemy patrols first without having them spot the player in an instant for the stealth segments (Half-Life didn't exactly have leaning). For now, the current solution is a small invisible brush that you can see through but enemies can't around corners where you can do a hacky sort-of "lean".
