I think the cause for trouble is that either Leon didn't have enough people betatesting this mod for problems or he ignored them.
No idea.

I really do hope that the mod gets updated though, it's such a fine mod in terms of level making, it's a shame that a lot of things drag the mod down.

Just a few images that i took while playing Leon's new latest EP3-inspired mod.

I managed to get to the part where you lose your weapons, and right now, i feel REALLY mixed.
On one hand, i would really like to call this mod a MOTY for me.
On the other hand, i feel like putting this thing straight in the Recycle Bin and forgetting about it.

The brushing for the most part is beautiful, sure some things kinda don't make sense when it comes to basic architecture (road too small for cars to turn for example), but i really like some of the parts of the mod.

I find the custom scripting to be really nice too, the sniper actually hitscans instead of a trajectory, and the pistol's mag is reduced, i appreciate that effort.

The cutscenes however tore through the shields.
Worse when they start clipping through walls.
Even worse if you load from them which would cause the HUD to disappear outside the cutscenes.
Worst is when the cutscenes show the obvious things that can be done ingame (opening medbox, showing guns).

The easter eggs breached the hull.
Some of them felt as part of the map progression and is easy as cake to find instead of as a true hard-to-find go-out-of-your-way secret.
Even worse is when the easter eggs themselves are basically adult self-insert comics.

The little details suffocated the crew.
The custom models screwed the whole thing up, i know that every modder would eventually get sick of the old models and would change things up, but it should have been just an optional thing.

The bugs killed the captain.
First image is a lift button floating in midair.
I carried a sniper that apparently has unlimited ammo as long as i still carry it (so from the catwalk part i was basically carrying the Mosin all the way).
When the part where you lose your weapons come, i laughed as the sniper i dropped before is still there, so if anything came up, i still have 11 bullets to spare.

I REALLY wanted to like the mod, but so far it has disabled my like ship.
