I have to side with the Outcasts here (but I'll point out that I'm not one of them, and never have been, before anyone thinks otherwise). They're a great bunch of guys who happen to be some of the best players on the mod, and for them to be insulted like this on ModDB is uncalled for. Especially when they've done nothing wrong and it's your fault. Let me put it this way: If you're a trader, and you go and attempt to trade in enemy-controlled territory, you should expect to be attacked by the enemy. Use your common sense, and find other places to trade. Kusari was taken by a Outast/Blood Dragon alliance, so it is their territory, they can do what they want with it.
As for being attacked in other places such as the borderworlds, I have to say that you're just being pathetic. You joined up with a hostile faction to them, that's painting a big target on your back. This is an RP/PvP server, so you shouldn't expect to be able to go around trading without having to deal with pirates or your faction's enemies. Again, use your common sense. Hire an escort or two if you think a hostile pilot is nearby, and expect to be attacked, especially when they know you are in a trading faction.
Don't go around insulting both the mod and a respected faction just because you got blown up by an enemy faction.
And finally to your statement of 'it is the factions/players of the game who control the universe', that's true, and I'm glad of it. The admins give us a great deal of freedom in this mod, greater than most people are used to, and the mod is dynamic and constantly changing because of it. How many mods do you know of where the Dragons actually managed to succeed in their civil war against Kusari, and therefore became the official house, sending the 'lawful' forces into exile?
