The start is amazing. The lighthouse, the port, the first words, the narrator and the level design. Wow! Very well crafted. I forgot it's a mod, not a commercial game.

The second part is another story. There are still some amazing sights (catacombs, newport under siege), but the flow and the story telling gets really annoing. Invisible (and visible) walls everywhere, killing any immersion and exploration. It's no longer a place I want to explore, it becomes a game, a track (of the same torches) I have to follow in order to advance. Unskippable audio logs, you can't move or do anything while listening to (you need 20s to read the text, but the sexy french voice - oh, she is sexy - needs 3 minutes to finish). Needless cutscenes (moving me without doing anything important) and too many narrative jumps. Why bring me to the dessert when there is nothing to see, except another text telling me about things you're not showing me?

I hope I'm not too harsh, but the first minutes were so amazing, they made the rest look pale in comparison.
